Currently, he is Professor with the Techno International New Town, Kolkata and a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. Shandar Ahmad is a Professor of Bioinformatics and former Dean at the School of Computational and Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University, since 2016.
